This TED talk is about how we talk about sex. Americans tend to use baseball metaphors, whereas this teacher says we should use a pizza, especially in sex education. Baseball is all about rules: Play ball! Round the bases in the correct order. No need to talk, just do. Someone wins and someone loses.
Pizza is all about what the individuals want: You eat when you want, what you want, and with who you want. You talk about what you'd like on the pizza even if you've eaten pizza with this person for years. You make compromises. And you talk about whether the the pizza was good and if you want to eat that kind again.
And it gave me a story idea, but one that has nothing to do with pizza.
