I'm all in a tizzy

 Today is my last day off this week, but I had the whole weekend off—Saturday to make up for Thursday when I worked. That was probably my last weekend off until the end of August. I planned to type in more Trifecta and catch up on lj, but I have this story I started on Wednesday that was supposed to be short and quick, but I spent Saturday tweaking and not writing, so it's still only the set up and not the pay off. (Sunday was going to start with reinstalling Windows while I read the latest—and last— Nightrunner book, but Itachi didn't survive. My husband got a new case and motherboard and now Natasha sits happy on my desk. (I prefer black to beige cases, but I'm running out of characters associated with black. What about a nice burgundy or royal blue?.) She's a lot smaller, but much easier to tinker with (My youngest cleaned Itachi's fans a few months ago and just putting four of the screws back in took two screwdrivers, tweezers, pliers, both of us, and about a half an hour). As of Sunday night I still couldn't open Scrivener or any Office documents, so no writing. And then I had to put my book down just as the climax started (I finished it last night). 

So I had lots of stuff to keep me busy. Then I got the email with a contract in it. (I'd only found out my story had been excepted last night) I'll need to figure out how to sign it (my husband will know), fill out an about the story/author page (do I have a cover preference? maybe?), and look over Be My Queen before it gets sent to an editor.

I'm having a hard time thinking clearly.
