I couldn't remember if we'd addressed any of this: Familiars impregnating Wizards. Cell phones (did these show up anywhere?). Extra powers a Wizard/Familiar cross has. What Wizards who don't work for the University do for a living. Just how long a familiar's gestation is. How much regular people know about the University and the people in it. And lots more. But I wrote it anyway.

Why wouldn't they just leave him alone?

"Do you know who the other parent is?" Mom would never say father as she was the one who'd 'fathered' him—at least as much as he was 'mothering' his kitten. Please let it be just one. He couldn't deal with a litter right now.
