A Balance of Harmonies: Care

This chapter is my Fathers’ Day addition because it felt appropriate.

Today I’m working a few hours around noon in the floral department cleaning and changing out buckets, then I’ll spend the dinner hours manning the grill for the deli. When they first ask me to go over there, it was to work inside, so someone else could grill, but then they decided that since I can keep the fire lit, I should go help the guy who constantly chokes his. I feel kind of happy that people think I do a good job, but now I’m worried that maybe I’ll fail this time, as I run my instinct rather than knowledge.
