In the interest of getting to know their own characters better, some writers do mini bio, some of which are instructive, but many of which are boring. My favorite, from a book (or website or article) that I can’t remember had questions like what would they like to do for their birthday if they could do anything, what will they probably do for their birthday, when was the last time they talked to their mother and about what, what would they do if their long lost cousin showed up on their doorstep. Those sorts of open-ended questions that could be answered in a sentence or fifty.

And because I started this in a conversation to Grimm, I thought I’d finish for fun.

Boy, that was a lot longer than I thought. And it doesn’t even have anything just posted on my lj. I didn’t realize how many characters I couldn’t answer the questions for. They were mostly ones that were never POV and two who I purposefully never tried to figure out.
